I was so patiently OKAY FINE impatiently waiting for this one!!
Every glimpse of Xavier was drawing me in more and more he was so intriguing and I needed to know his tale..

I am a such a glutton for Angst and Sexual Tension.. crave it sometimes.. want those feelings where you can't help but hold your breath in anticipation, want to fling your kindle across the room cause your so pissed off or start muttering to the characters advise you damn well know they can't hear.. This book had it all sexy sweet tension with some angst thrown in!! So yes I was one happy satisfied reader!

I loved the way the story started off with the present and that "Marry Me" then ventured off into showing us how we got there and then what came after!! with both of their POV's..

Boy oh Boy Xavier really had a number done on him when he was left with a newborn to care for at such an early age and a Military career that was still so new.. Luckily a great mom that came to the rescue without hesitation and a wonderful Kale & the gang became his network of support for him and his baby girl.

Then we have Kalli young, vibrant, carefree full of sass and sarcasm living and loving life to the fullest.. No real worries or responsibilities, Hell she was still living at home well into her late 20's cause she could and really didn't care what anyone thought!

Let's jump right into Xavier.. Oh the so MANY times I was SO wanting to Throttle the man, everyone knew he was attracted to Kalli but he did absolutely Nada about it just always wanting more time, constantly second guessing things... I felt like he was just full of excuses and had his head stuck so far up his ass I wanted him to grovel and beg when he finally snapped out of it.. Then Kalli started off acting like a total doormat IMO.. putting herself out there numerous times and getting shot down just as many.. I would have been so done with him after the first time he made it clear she would never be first or second, Hell not even third in his life...She was always doing so much for him and Lily without giving it a second thought.

Because I love Angst so damn much I was able to forgive Xavier his Stubborn ways - which really only came from his love for his daughter and how he put his needs aside to put hers first above all else. (who can stay mad at that) And I was able to realize Kalli wasn't letting Xavier walk all over her (she'd loved the man he was for 10 years).. She knew what she wanted and knew what would be waiting on the other side once she tore down those walls.. A man that loves so hard and protects his family so fiercely nothing gets in his way..

Kalli was exactly what Xavier and his daughter needed in their lives and she knew this and got everything she wanted and more!!

This was such a fun read watching Xavier struggle with what he wanted and how he thought he needed to be.. Kalli being patient but totally tempting him at every turn and their moms were to cute with their plotting.. so much went on that had me pausing and laughing cause I would have reacted the same or even said something so similar if found in that situation.

5.. Need to Stock up on some Kale STARS!!!

This was a friends to lovers story that won me over from the very first chapter.. These two met in the cutest way and didn't ever hide their attraction towards one another.. Due to some secrets in their past they were both OKAY just being "Friends with Benefits". An over due reunion with a night of pent up lust & passion led to an un planned pregnancy.

Kale has ruined me for any other Baby Daddy Hero's.. He was total perfection and undoubtedly irresistible.. He was sexy, charming, funny and protective.. He had some Demons to overcome which was his only flaw because he tried to bury them deep.. From the moment he found out Lucy was having his baby he made it known they were in it together!

Kale and Lucy were made for each other.. They just didn't know how to tell the other, but once they started opening up it was smooth sailing. When Kale came up with the name "Sprout" I fell for him hard and that just kept happening over and over again!

"Yeah, Sprout. I figured since I planted the seed, you've got a little Kale in there. Sprout only seems fitting, and I don't want to call it an "it" anymore, So Sprout it is"

The funny foodie and garden jokes had me laughing out load and I couldn't stop the giggles when he came up with "JAM"

                

"I'll do my part and make sure you eat lots and lots of Kale"

 Inflame packed some serious Heat the Connection between them was off the charts HOT....

Kale and Lucy get an A+ !!

Loved both Epilogue's and can't wait to see what Tessa Teevan has in store for Xavier and the Wellington brothers..

My Fav so far..

Knox is HOT!!! Oh Boy Knox was just one delicious specimen of a hot blooded,brooding male!! Poor Knox he's been burned and burned BAD!! he has sworn off relationships for EVER.. he's been the stick em' and leave em' type for quiet some time now...but that's all about to change.

Charlie is your sexy Tom Boy type who's beautiful inside and out... she's just recently gone through a major breakup! But she's not afraid to put herself out there again, although very lucky to have her BFF and dad to lean on for comfort and support.

Charlie has volunteered to lend a helping hand to a wounded solider something she's done before.. After a road side bomb almost killed Knox while out on the field he's back home and begrudgingly admits he just might need temporary assistance till his brother can take over..Let the Attraction Begin!!! Once the fuel Ignited with these two it was on.. when Knox finally got over his hang ups and realized Charlie was it, there was no stopping him.. This was a story about getting over ones insecurities and forgiveness with a wholelotta smexin goin' down!! Charlie was a kickass heroine and gave as good as she got!!
