This felt like an absolute tease to me with an awesome set up for more!!

Anthony Bear has made a name for himself by making smart moves and being ruthless. 

It was a bit unnerving reading about this total bad-ass having an obvious chip on his shoulders.  But it's crazy how one person can open your eyes to a world you never knew you needed or even wanted.

Reading about how Anthony and Christy met and how unsettled he was when he began realizing that what he was feeling and doing - contradicted the why's of it was beautiful..

I can't really go too much into Christy's role in all of this since it's basically the driving storyline.. But I can say she was strong, caring and the perfect partner for Anthony!

This wasn't an over the top gritty read in my opinion, it was nothing like Grizz and Kits story which we did get to see them again.. this wasn't about outlaws and Anthony's indiscretions..

This was a story about two damaged people who fell in love in the most unlikeliest way.. 

I wanted More.. 

While I got to know Anthony and Christy I was left with so many questions.. there were small conversations through out that were left hanging - events eluded to with no explanation or further mention.. There was Nisha and X as well as Lucy and Booker I need to know everything about them as well.

SOOOO I am very excited to see where Ms. Flynn will be taking us next!!

I first need to point out that if you thought Shane and Emily burned up the sheets before? Gahhh- in this installment they were HOTTER, Smoking Hot!! 

There's no way I can go into detail about the plot without giving anything away - Hell I still don't know what will happen next.. how it all will go down! I've been left on the edge of my seat desperate for the next.. Yes another cliffy but that much closer.. 

This series is full of Suspense, Secrets and intense characters who all have a purpose and have been strategically placed.. So many layers!! Layers I want, NEED to unravel.. 
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

Abso~freaking~lutely Fantastic!!!

This was the FINAL installment and what an ending..

I definitely got my historical Romance fix with this.. But it was unique to anything I've read before it had a mix of suspense and mystery.. It had angst, it had heart break, it had some really Hot scenes..

I was hooked from the first book with Alexandra's innocence's and Brandford's need for vengeance what a pair those two would make.

If you've been following this series as I have it's been a nail biter, 

Kindle flinging, edge of your seat type of read!! with all the cliff hangers and jaw dropping moments..

Shay Savage has managed to wow me yet again!!

Obviously there were some upset readers.. I was one of them as well but hey the story kept true to what she wanted and I have to say as gut wrenching as some parts were to get through I devoured Every. Single. Moment of it and to be honest I wouldn't want to change a thing.

I won't get into the story but I will end this short and to the point review by saying I felt SO much while reading this series and that's something that I always crave when I pick up a book!!

So beware because there were triggers and situations some will NOT LIKE but in the end to each their own!

Absolutely LOVED the concept of the story from beginning to end

The mystery, intrigue and tone of the story kept me turning the pages..

The only issue I had was the heroine went from this meek scared woman trying to

 prove a point while chasing her savior - after repeated warnings to let it be to this 

ballsy, risk taker. I won't get into the actual story since there are some twists and it will spoil the plot.. But that's the only thing that held me back from rating it a 5..

It was sexy, hot and suspenseful..

Loved both characters..

Each had their own stories to tell and together they were explosive..

The plot was engaging and kept me reading through the night

Xander although guarded still managed to show his true colors 

Even with the secrets from his past he still came across true and strong..

Paige was genuine and caring and was able to break through those barriers.

She had that special something that called to Xander..

This was a very sexy~suspense filled story that was thoroughly thought out 

and knowing it was a male author was the cherry on top!! 

I won't go into the actual book since it was a jaw dropper but I will say I only

 wished the ending wouldn't have wrapped up so quickly..

I sort of  consider this a debut novel since it was solely written by Mr. Urruela

and we can clearly hear his voice through out..

I did read A Lover's Lament and Loved it as well but kept wondering who wrote what 

as I often tend to do with all other co-authored books..

Keep them coming BT you've definitely gained a fan over here!!

I have to admit it took me a bit to get into the story for the first 30% Aaron was just acting way to childish for my liking and I got the whole keep your distant logic and I definitely understood he had secrets he needed to guard tightly but STILL with those excuses under his belt he was just plain annoying which is not the Aaron I fell for from his past appearances..

Kreed was his usual cocky self.. He's what kept me going through those rough bumps with his need to protect and his professionalism.. Even though he did let down his guard quiet a bit around Aaron.. Only to be put in his place more times than I would have liked.. 

50% into it we finally get the action and steam I've loved from this series..

Things start to unfold and unravel and even when you think something has been handled some other heart stopping obstacle comes into play..

And once Kreed and Aaron let their attraction for each other take hold there was no holding back.. There were so many sides to both these characters that kept me on my toes from speaking their minds to heroism..

So happy I stuck with it because we finally got to see them close the case!!

and was a part of Kreed & Aaron's HEA!!!

Nice Guys Series

Thia is prim and proper.

Oh how I was so NOT patiently waiting for Bears story!!

He's been present since the very beginning of King..

We kept getting glimpses of Bear from when they were boys, to when they grew up and formed an unbreakable bond, to when they lost loved ones to when he lost himself!!

Thia short for Cynthia, but not like Cindy was no wilting flower. She said what was on her mind and gave as good as she got actually.. even better!!

She wasn't one to sit around and wait for a hero...but when she lost everything she decided to collect on some promises!!

Holy Crap this was another phenomenal read...That ending just about did me in..

Luckily for us readers Ms. T.M. Frazier left us with a hint..

A hint that has me gunning for The Dark Light of Day which I've yet to read..

So once I'm done with that... then I will be...
