It's sick, it's perverse, it's taboo it's gory and raw..

Simply put it was....

 Not only was the story line intense but we dealt with so MANY mental disorders..

We were taken through a horror ride where we got to see their triggers and what essentially made most of them go off the deep end.. Not they were very far from it to begin with..

SOOOO many secrets exposed.. There was never a moment of peace.. 

All the ulterior motives were dealt with.. Ghost made their Grand appearances...

There were some scenes as with the first book that were just 

insane.. More than anything scary because it happens, people do these things..

Gahhh it was CRAZY!!!!

The craziest part from all of this??

It had a Happy Ending!!

Yes it did..

and crazier for me to admit?

I was happy and content with it.. I accepted it..

You either will Love this story or Hate it, I don't see how there can be an in between..

One of these authors must be familiar with the South Bronx because the vibes, imagery and street names were on point reason being I grew up in Hunts Point and glad to say my parents were able to shelter me from most of what went on.. But I still saw ALOT..

This was an extremely dark read, with subject matters and scenes that would shock even the most avid Dark & Twisted reader..  This was a total Mind Fuck from the start and just kept getting more intense as it went on.. If you THINK you like dark reads seriously don't bother.. You have to CRAVE the shock factors in these kinds of books.. ESPECIALLY this one..
It was gory, twisted, taboo, sick, abusive and scarier, some of the things I just read can happen right under our noses!! The Blurb did hint at what I was in for but boy was it an understatement.. I'll leave it at that for those that are brave enough to give it a go!! It's a ride you won't soon forget and possibly have nightmares about!!

After a few days of regrouping and trying to put my thoughts and emotions into words I still don't think I could ever do the story justice..

I've loved this series from the 1st but Flame & Maddie's story has just floored me.

Tillie Cole is just utterly amazing!! I never could have fathomed the abuse Flame had been put through. What he dealt with. What he was able to overcome. I balled my fucking eyes out.. His back story wrecked havoc on my mind for days.. 

We somewhat had an idea of Maddie's horrific abuse.. But she totally surprised me with her strength and her ability to guide Flame through his demons.. Grasp on to what she wanted and put her fears and past aside for Flame!!

From that very first scene at the church where Flame called, Hell screamed out to Maddie.. I felt his distress his fears his need to protect her at all cost.. I had goose bumps..

"I let a scream tear from my injured throat. And I kept pushing my bike harder"

The want and desperate need Flame and Maddie had for one another was just tragically beautiful. Both so damaged they couldn't allow themselves the simplest touch, caress, embrace!!! 

"What are words? Sometimes the flick of a pair of eyes or the flush of skin reveals everything you need to know. Words can wound. Silence can heal."

" I have been there too. I have felt the urge to fade, to never wake again. But then something happened to me. Someone happened to me... YOU."

This story flowed effortlessly, perfectly!! The scene was set for whats next to come and I for sure will be anxiously awaiting.. All the characters were present and all had their role to play.. I was only sad when I realized Flame & Maddie's story had been fulfilled..
