He was of course my favorite character.. Even through his own issues he managed to be the perfect guy.. That perfect guy that laid it all out there and sacrificed it all with out a second thought.. Where are these guys? How can I find one?

Rana had so many insecurities and hang ups.. she basically lived in the past and her guilt wouldn't let her move forward. but Thankfully... her one moment of  liquid courage was able to turn all of that around. and although vulnerable she eventually allowed Landon to slowly pull her out of this self imposed judgmental way of  viewing herself ..

Both Landon and Rana had things they both needed to overcome in order to accept each other and ultimately forgive themselves.. With time, determination, Love and a little humor they both managed to get a second chance at happiness and get the HEA they were meant to have.

The characters were developed and the secrets were unraveled pretty early on.

Carter was a player and had no issues with his lifestyle until a petite blonde perked up his thoughts on the future..

 Kendall in all honesty was the flighty one.. Even though she didn't come across that way at first.. She was quick to jump to conclusions and had really low self esteem when in my opinion. Luckily Carter put a stop to all of that and once that plane landed it was all good

First I want to say that even though this was a stand alone spin off 

It takes off right after someones **ahem** wedding...

I was team Reagan & Nora as soon as I met them!!

This book consumed me I was hoping and wishing for their HEA through out!!

And the Angst oh boy the Angst..

I was smirking one second and blurting out WTF's the next 

This was filled with TONS & TONS of feels!!

Nora's exterior portrayed this very sexually independent female

She didn't beat around the bush about her NON EXISTANT expectations when it came to relationships.. And lived her life as such without a care, no strings attached

what will be will be!!!!

Reggie on the other hand lived a controlled life, a numbers man.. Very Confident and sure of himself a total ALPHA!!! with some quirks...he did not want to put up with Nora's games anymore and made that very clear.. Also made her very aware that he wanted HER!!..

Both of these characters were so strong and stubborn but true to themselves 

they both kept me flipping pages

wanting to throttle them both yes BOTH!!!

Events occurred, situations where taken as challenges and finally 

Sweet Sweet Victory!!

There is so much to look forward to in this book!!

Love, Angst, Sexy times, Scorching HOT times,

Hilarious moments, WTF!!!! moments, Total Yummy Alpha moments and 

a heroine you will like no matter her faults!!

M. Mabie has proven to me that she's an auto buy author..

I fell in love with her writing when I picked up The Wake series earlier this year 

and it became abundantly clear after reading Knot that she's just that amazing!!!!

Funny, Sexy, Quirky and Best of ALL Different...

The banter between these two was hilarious, they both had the other pegged! 

Blake was a this cocky, self absorbed A-hole and Amanda was a total Prude!!

Or so they thought..

The Fun & sexy times began when they are paired for a writing project..

Prepare for your cheeks to hurt from the permanent smile on your face.. Mine still are  while I'm writing this with a perma-grin  happens every time I think about this books..

Once the writing started, you could see the chemistry just start sizzling off the pages

and boy it was HOT!!!

Smut was a fantastic Sexy Romance Comedy I couldn't put down..

Blake was nothing like what I initially saw on the surface he won me over immediately 

and Amanda was the cutest and I thought pretty transparent just wanting to be accepted as she was..

I got the feel for the behind the scenes - an idea of what a writing duo might be like..

(Well this was one very (cough) Hot writing Duo )

With secondary characters I couldn't help but fall in Love with as well and 

I can't forget to mention Fluffy..

This was an amazingly wonderful read!!

It was by Kristin Vayden a new to me author I will definitely keep on my radar..

The story was funny and engaging..

The characters were well developed in such a short story and you couldn't help but 

keep those pages turning trying to see what other disastrous date Merry would be set on..

It was such a cute, sexy, fr-enemy type scenario I thoroughly enjoyed  

wouldn't mind reading a sequel with Roxi and "Her One"

An overall fast paced, sexy-sweet plot with a few fun secrets revealed along the way

And a Scottish Brogue that will have your panties melting off
