Loved Loved Loved!! Wow did not see that twist coming..

This book does have cheating so if that's an issue for you - do not read.. But in my opinion is what ultimately makes this story so unique and real.

Just WOW!!! the marriage aspect of the book, the families and children involved, the friends we keep by our sides in good and bad times, betrayal, secrets, insecurities, communication.. ALL of that played a role in this story and I devoured every bit of it! I was all over the place with emotions and stayed up late reading cause I had to know how it would end. Marriage isn't always pretty, it isn't always about googly eyes, kissy faces and definitely never perfect .. It's about sacrifices, selflessness, communication and at times forgiveness. 

Ella Fields swept us through Leo and Lia's life - the good and the bad and she did it wonderfully!!

This felt like an absolute tease to me with an awesome set up for more!!

Anthony Bear has made a name for himself by making smart moves and being ruthless. 

It was a bit unnerving reading about this total bad-ass having an obvious chip on his shoulders.  But it's crazy how one person can open your eyes to a world you never knew you needed or even wanted.

Reading about how Anthony and Christy met and how unsettled he was when he began realizing that what he was feeling and doing - contradicted the why's of it was beautiful..

I can't really go too much into Christy's role in all of this since it's basically the driving storyline.. But I can say she was strong, caring and the perfect partner for Anthony!

This wasn't an over the top gritty read in my opinion, it was nothing like Grizz and Kits story which we did get to see them again.. this wasn't about outlaws and Anthony's indiscretions..

This was a story about two damaged people who fell in love in the most unlikeliest way.. 

I wanted More.. 

While I got to know Anthony and Christy I was left with so many questions.. there were small conversations through out that were left hanging - events eluded to with no explanation or further mention.. There was Nisha and X as well as Lucy and Booker I need to know everything about them as well.

SOOOO I am very excited to see where Ms. Flynn will be taking us next!!

And it was Fantastic!!

It was Hot, Intense and had Dax which was pure deliciousness..

now I needs to get with the program and read ALL of Ilsa's books...

Especially if their anything like this one.

We get a Bad boy Alpha, we get Angst and we get to ride that emotional roller coaster!

I've hit the jack pot agan with this one..

Dax was the perfect mix of Assholish ~ loveable sex on a stick type of Male!!!

Remi was vulnerable obviously given the circumstances but she still let her self be consumed by the attraction that drew these two together previously..

A wonderful story full of  the good drama..

I absolutely fell in love with these 2 characters!!
We got to know both of them.. their insecurities.. their strengths and knew there was a huge secret from the beginning.. Just not what exactly and that made the read that much more intriguing..

There was angst, there were moments where  I wanted to skip to the end and find out what the issue was.. I laughed I got teary eyed and a few times I wanted to throttle them..
which makes for the perfect read!!

Rachael Duncan was a new to me author and I will be looking out for more of her books!!

This was a total mind fuck of epic proportion!!

It was broken down into 3 parts for us and I'll just let you know how each part affected 

me and you decide if you can handle the trip it's taken me through..

I was blindsided , I was gutted, I was left in utter shock!!

I was expecting a turn of events but no where near to the extent that we get..

I was fooled, the wool was so thoroughly pulled over my eyes I was clueless and I 

wanted to scream and rant and just throat punch someone due to the unfairness...

PART 2..

"You had to endure the pain to appreciate the pleasure"

BULLSHIT!!!

I wanted to grasp onto any semblance of redemption but there was none to be found

your just left trying to piece together the why's.. because clearly something is not meshing 

and everything must have been a lie or THIS LOVE was just not right...

"You said I should never love you because you wouldn't know how to handle it"

Finally a knight in shining armor? or more ulterior motives?

who can you trust.. why let anyone close if all you're going to do is hurt them!!

Just keep everyone at a distance.. But at what cost?

PART 3...

WHAT THE FUCK!!!

I don't think my heart nor hers for that matter can take another hit.. 

I want to hope for the best, I want there to be a healthy obsession but is there such a thing?
