Simply put it was....

 Not only was the story line intense but we dealt with so MANY mental disorders..

We were taken through a horror ride where we got to see their triggers and what essentially made most of them go off the deep end.. Not they were very far from it to begin with..

SOOOO many secrets exposed.. There was never a moment of peace.. 

All the ulterior motives were dealt with.. Ghost made their Grand appearances...

There were some scenes as with the first book that were just 

insane.. More than anything scary because it happens, people do these things..

Gahhh it was CRAZY!!!!

The craziest part from all of this??

It had a Happy Ending!!

Yes it did..

and crazier for me to admit?

I was happy and content with it.. I accepted it..

Reading TST was like being dropped off in the middle of an endless maze..

It was Wickedly Complex, Twisted, Gritty and Dark!!

So many players this time around Eric and Nikki are basically the pawns...

Eric was hands down one of the cockiest most sadistic, manipulative, narcissistic SOB's 

I've had the pleasure of reading about..   He's the type of Asshole you'll Hate to Love..

He'll have you creaming your panties while scaring you straight!

Eric was this beautiful demented man..

In The Sordid Promise he was untouchable, cunning and fearless..

We definitely got to see the Ethan side of him through his nightmares and what bits and pieces he fed Nikki of his damaged past..

He somehow managed to get snared in one of the many webs he's weaved - literally stuck

Oh what tangled webs we weave!!

Nikki just needed someone to confide in, a friend..

Just one Damn Friend!!!

But no one was stupid enough to dare extend that Olive Branch, they knew their 

lives would never be the same...

There were so many secrets, so many lies and deceit

I felt as if I was on a never ending roller coaster where the biggest drop was stuck on replay 

Over and Over again.

It was a total mind Fuck!!

It was bitter sweet to see Nikki start off so strong and then slowly start to come undone!!

She never once held her tongue no matter the consequence.. But she was no match for Eric

nor his sordid past..

Due to obvious reasons old and new she couldn't be 100% honest with Eric she held something's back to protect her heart and others to protect him.. But as they say no good deed goes unpunished and so it set off a chain of disastrous events!!

That ending!!! 

So much left unanswered, so many new players...

We were left with organized chaos..

You either will Love this story or Hate it, I don't see how there can be an in between..

One of these authors must be familiar with the South Bronx because the vibes, imagery and street names were on point reason being I grew up in Hunts Point and glad to say my parents were able to shelter me from most of what went on.. But I still saw ALOT..

This was an extremely dark read, with subject matters and scenes that would shock even the most avid Dark & Twisted reader..  This was a total Mind Fuck from the start and just kept getting more intense as it went on.. If you THINK you like dark reads seriously don't bother.. You have to CRAVE the shock factors in these kinds of books.. ESPECIALLY this one..
It was gory, twisted, taboo, sick, abusive and scarier, some of the things I just read can happen right under our noses!! The Blurb did hint at what I was in for but boy was it an understatement.. I'll leave it at that for those that are brave enough to give it a go!! It's a ride you won't soon forget and possibly have nightmares about!!

I know I'll be going through a serious book funk after finishing OOT!!

Nothing will appeal, I'll be in limbo for days, all I'll speak about is OOT!!

It was that FUCKING GOOD...

I never really thought Nine Minutes ended on a cliffy but there was so much more that could've been answered.. And we get that in OOT with a cliffy and more questions and so many other crosswords and story lines!!! Gahhhh 

Grizz was the mother-fucking man hands down, 

the way every turn was already mapped, questions anticipated.. 

The life he was brought up in and the life he led weren't easy.. Reading about his past was gut wrenching, 

I could sympathize and came to terms with the man he became. He absolutely adored 

Kit and while reading OOT you could grasp just how deep that Love went..

Ginny had so much thrown at her and had to come to terms with all the lies she 

lived with..

All the decisions made for her, she was sheltered for her own sanity.

 I wondered while reading if she would've been able to deal with the truths, 

been able to still Love Grizz as much as she did knowing how ruthless he was, really seeing how he dealt out his punishments and how he gained all that respect and 

fear from his club and those around him.

Grunt finally got a chance to tell his side of story, shed some much needed light on past events. 

I kept telling myself through out the story that he was SO young, also had an abusive childhood and was forced to grow up way to fast. 

As well as everything he did, every move he made was all for Love. He was loyal to a fault but again loyal to those he deemed worthy. We got to see a different, more mature, controlled/reserved side to Tommy and he was amazing and so patient with Ginny.

I fell for him more and more as I continued to read, but also wanted to kick him in the neck with certain revelations..

SO many characters played important roles which I will not get into.

But all I will say is that there were some jaw dropping, eye opening moments that were just Brilliant. BUT no matter what was revealed and what the future holds for those still actively in the game I have been and forever will be Team Grizz..

One of the coolest things about reading this book is that I know all the counties and streets mentioned in it.. Some roads I take on a regular basis and can't help but wonder how it would have looked back in the 50's..

I still cannot believe when I picked up NM last year that it was from a debut author, 

and NOW reading OOT the continuation to NM I'm still in Aww of the writing, world building and characters have been amazing.. I will continue to follow Beth Flynn anxious to see what else she has in store for us and recommend these books to anyone that will listen for a very long time..

I'll be 100% honest and say it was a rough start for me up to like 10% 

but holy hell after that I was so consumed by the book I couldn't eat or sleep until the end.. 

And What An End!!!  (Clutching Heart)

Goodness Gracious.. The Feels.. I've heard people mention it before.. Now I Know!!!

The entire story was just an up and down, twist and turn, emotional mind FUCK!!!

Every main character won me over and I couldn't help but laugh when they did, feel offended when they were and cry when it just couldn't be held back!

Even though the story's about King and Doe 

Preppy was front and center along with Bear and Grace.. You will fall for each and everyone of them guaranteed..  

Doe woke up with no memory of her past and found her self alone and on the streets.. She's thrust into a world were her only focus is Survival... find shelter and food by ANY means necessary!!

This is where the story really takes off and Doe finds herself  undoubtedly screwed. 

We reacquaint ourselves with King in all his hotness and Preppy in all his lovable, psycho craziness years later. 

Doe comes into the picture and gets in too deep, way way, way over her head..

The story takes us on a wild super intense ride where Doe eventually finds herself as King's property!

Along the road you just can't help falling for King & Preppy..

Preppy and his quirky dangerous, loyal self and King with his total Alpha demeanor and twisted asshole persona...  

"King got off the bike and stalked toward me. He snatched the helmet out of my hands and roughly shoved it onto my head. My hair was trapped over my eyes and I was momentarily disoriented" ~Doe  (did I mention King was an asshole?)

There were so many Holy Shit and You've Got To Be Shitting Me moments..

So many Laugh Out Loud and a few HELL FUCK NO ones!! 

where you have to bust the tissues out  and sob ugly tears while still smiling...

I thought I was done for with that ending but boy was I wrong
