SO many moving parts, every character seems to have their own story to tell but they're doing it in bits and pieces.. Everyone of them has captured my attention and I need to know what comes next.. 

There are secrets that need to be unraveled.. Allies to be made.. Shane Brandon ruthless and all will still have his work cut out for him.. Not knowing who to trust while trying to do the right thing for his families empire, Shane will have to be on alert at all times.. But really whats a story with out the romance & steam?

That's where Emily comes in.. Trying to run away from her past which we know nothing about.. She's been consumed by Shane in every way conceivable.

He's pulled the Total Alpha card and they've been burning up them sheets from the start!!

The kicker of course is that it ended on a cliff hanger!!

With the suspense, the characters being strategically placed and the brewing - Off the charts HOT - romance although they were driving me to drink with their back and forth should I shouldn't I.... I need the next one ASAP!!!

She took the whole Mafia theme to another level, she spun it her way and did not disappoint!!

As usual when I think I've got the story figured out it's nothing like what I was expecting.. And that's exactly why I continue to pick up Ms Lane's books!!

Sugar was everything but sweet.. Well she was at some point.. 

She loves fiercely and is what ultimately kept her grounded.. Even with all she was dealt with she still wanted to do the right thing, no matter how the outcome would effect her!!

She's watched so much blood spilled 

Catch.. oh so, so many layers to Catch!

Dark & Dangerous, Mysterious, So Secretive and down right Sexy!!

He's a man on a mission.. One that wasn't clear until the very end.

You won't know who's side he's ultimately on until he pulls that trigger.. Or Not!!

So many players and watching them all unravel was Su-Fucking-Perb!!!
It was non stop action, everyone was a target!!

Troy was a deliciously wicked bad-ass on a mission..
It's all about respect and revenge for him..
He's feared by many and is practically untouchable so when he takes Sparrow
as his wife no one is more surprised than she is.
She'd never really associated with him. she'd kept to her crowd and there was an age difference as well that apparently didn't matter much to Troy since it was just for mere convenience.. Didn't matter he'd practically caged her clipped her wings!!!

Damn Troy was an utter douche but so yummy and Sparrow gave it right back without fear.. she was everything a heroine should be.. she hid her vulnerabilities but...
She stood her ground..
There was so much to this story, mafia business, mystery, affairs, cheating (yes cheating), angst and through it all a kick ass plot that kept me engaged from beginning to end!!
And we get a HEA!!!!

L.J. Shen was a new to me author but I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style.
Definitely will pick up more of her work!!

I went into this book thinking one thing, shortly after realized I was TOTALLY wrong but definitely not disappointed in the least.. then finished it with a great Big Smile and sad to have it end

Nothing was as it seemed.. Even though the marriage was looked on as an Obligation these two were seriously drawn to each other and had some history and skeleton's in their closets that slowly unraveled..

"We just consummated our marriage on our divorce papers."  

   "That's very Caveman-ish"

Kai was the Ultimate Yum-tastic Alpha and Myla soaked up and loved every minute of it.. As did I while reading. I fell in Love with all the secondary characters, Kai's family and can't wait to get my hands on Distraction Sven & Maggie's story..

A Fabulous read I couldn't put down!
