I was so impatiently waiting for Painter and Mel's story!!!

Painter has made many appearances and seemed so stand offish.. 

We definitely get to see the real Levi, get front row seats to all his bad choices, his insecurities and his big Heart!!

Mel was and still remained the good girl, strong and determined!! But with one hell of a stubborn streak...She fell hard for Painter no matter the warnings and some how made him notice her and lay claim..

But would that ever be enough to keep them together?

Would she be able to become the Old Lady Painter needs?

Will Painter stop making all the wrong impulsive decisions out of  loyalty to his club and cowardliness towards an actual future with Mel?

Their story had a different vibe to the rest.. 

we get some of the after effect first and then get to go back and see 

first hand how we got there..

So if you're an obsessed follower of the Reaper's MC and the spin offs like I am

then this is a must read.. Got teary eyed a few times.. And the Steam was whistling it was so HOT!!

This spin off series was fan-fucking-tastic!!

 We get more  raw grit, more violence, more dirty talk more scorching sex and 

Oh Yea.. we get to see what the Reaper's MC are up to!!! 

Okay I'm done with my fan-girling!!

BUT I must mention the beginning of the story was a tough pill to swallow.. 

There was a seriously fucked up situation that took place but it's what ultimately sets the entire story in motion...

I Love when a book drags me outside of my element and makes

 my heart race 

and makes me get upset and start ranting & raging..

That's why I read to see how others handle their shit and yell at them 

when they can't see what's right in front of their faces..

Puck had it bad for Becca but wouldn't allow himself to take 

what he wanted when he wanted and not all was due to moral reasoning.. 

so he lingered in the background till the time was right and pounced.

Puck was just such a bad ass I love these men Joanna Wylde introduces us to..

They're blunt, raw, gritty, jealous, sexy ass hell and plain old assholes but 

when they fall they fall FUCKING hard!!

"You're mine. Pretend all you want, but this is my cunt, my ass, and I don't share you with anyone. I'll protect you and you'll take care of me and there's no goddamned thing you can do about it"

Becca in all honesty didn't stand a chance.. She somewhat had a hero worship thing going on when it came to Puck while still battling her demons and past on her own. She had set goals for herself not realizing that everything she needed was with in reach. She did try to fight her attraction and tried telling her self she didn't want  anything to do with the biker lifestyle but in the end Puck came out the Champ!

"You need to get this straight Becca" Puck said slowly "You're mine. You seem to think that's still for debate - it's not. I've claimed you and the club agreed. That's how it works in my world. End of story"

So we get everything I crave in an MC themed book

Ruger was just one bad Mofo that got his rocks off whenever, however and in front of whomever!!! … He just oozed danger and sex appeal and was one bad boy you wouldn’t mind getting dirty with over and over and over again..

Sophie was so rudely interrupted while getting her cherry popped by the love her life Zach aka Rugers younger ass hole step-brother.. Fast forward some years later and the only one in the picture is uncle Ruger for reasons you’ll find out about once you read the book!

Ruger considers Noah his and will do anything in his power to provide for him and this just made me Love Ruger more!! Here’s this badass Biker making sure his nephew and his mom are taken care of.. This affection also bleeds on over to Sophie and Ruger has made sure that if she isn’t with him, then she most definitely won’t be with anyone else!!

There are parts that are just so sweet when he describes what some of his tattoos mean **swoon** when we find said missing undies **sigh** and then there are parts where he’s just a Total Alpha and it’s his way or nothing **oh yea**

Ruger is right there alongside Horse in my Hot Biker - Hunk Shelf full of mouthwatering yumminess!!
