When the ghost of her best friend begs for her help, psychic detective Denieve Knight goes undercover as a live-in domestic to catch a killer. She sets her sights on the most likely suspect: her friend’s mysterious employer, Doctor Braeden Frost.
Dubbed "Dr. Death" by the press, the notorious hematologist is linked to nineteen other suspicious fatalities—all are former patients. The brooding recluse is a man of many secrets, the darkest of which may be lurking beneath the leather gloves he never removes.
Dark Murder
Mystery gone Paranormal..
Unexpected, Engaging and Unputdownable!!
Even Better??? I haven’t
read anything like it…. EVER!!
Obviously
I can’t go into the story much without spoiling it other than reiterate the
Blurb, give you a hint of what to expect and let you in on how much I enjoyed
this dark paranormal murder romance read!!
It
grabbed me from the beginning and held my attn. to the very end..
Well
not exactly the end since we are left hanging with a huge cliffhanger and now I’m
not so very patiently anticipating Part
2….
Ms. Holmes dangled the element of mystery and I bit..
We have
a murder mystery investigation, Denieve Knight – Psychic detective extraordinaire
has taken on, she also has a vested interest with the case – a personal one. Braeden
Frost has been dubbed “Dr. Death” due to all the unexplained deaths that have occurred
with patients under his care.
He’s a
recluse, broody and mysterious which doesn’t help his reputation at all.. The story
starts off with Denieve going undercover, trying to get to the bottom of the multiple deaths as
well as the murder of her best friend.
The
paranormal elements make the story fun and intriguing.. And as un~explainable events begin to occur and secrets start to slowly unravel we are left with more
questions than answers.
There’s
also Angst, Suspense, Humor and a few VERY Steamy Sex scenes all of this with a Gothic dark undertone that kept me turning pages and trying to get a grasp on and figure out the
main characters.
I can’t
wait to see what happens next!!
