I felt as if I was reading a merging of sorts ~ mean girls/gossip girls hopping over through the screen to Sons of Anarchy..

It was funny but sad, it was sexy and sweet but then you get that WTF? moments

With the college drama but also the Club drama..

Sometimes rules are meant to be broken.. Especially when it comes to Love..

Aria was consumed with guilt and fears and just wanted to please everyone around her.. thought she had to do what others wanted to prove her self worth and in someway redeem herself for what she thought she lacked..

"I love you today. I'll love you tomorrow. I'll love you forever," he whispers as we become one.

It was such a beautiful story.. We saw so much and watched Aria start to let go and really, finally find herself..

This read just took me by surprise and blew me away..

I absolutely love the arranged marriage theme and when an author can add a twist 

and make it their own.. I want to shout it off the roof tops!!!

Troy was a deliciously wicked bad-ass on a mission..
It's all about respect and revenge for him..
He's feared by many and is practically untouchable so when he takes Sparrow
as his wife no one is more surprised than she is.
She'd never really associated with him. she'd kept to her crowd and there was an age difference as well that apparently didn't matter much to Troy since it was just for mere convenience.. Didn't matter he'd practically caged her clipped her wings!!!

Damn Troy was an utter douche but so yummy and Sparrow gave it right back without fear.. she was everything a heroine should be.. she hid her vulnerabilities but...
She stood her ground..
There was so much to this story, mafia business, mystery, affairs, cheating (yes cheating), angst and through it all a kick ass plot that kept me engaged from beginning to end!!
And we get a HEA!!!!

L.J. Shen was a new to me author but I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style.
Definitely will pick up more of her work!!

This was such an awesome read.

We got to finally see who Finley this Cocky Stud Muffin was!!

Oh but we also got to see behind  all the smoke & mirrors..

Finley in his youth was carefree, fun and was always self assured, never backed down from what he wanted and ALWAYS went after it...

It's obvious very early on he became a bit bitter and just wanted some closure due to some events that took place with a certain Love interest..

We get to meet Brantley aka The Professor and a few other amazing characters I am now anxious to meet.. plus old ones we all LOVE..

This was a super steamy story about second chances and how sometimes some sacrifices are supposed to be discussed and should never be one sided.. How are decisions are not always the right ones and we need to step back and see if they were made purely out of selfishness or possibly acted upon do to insecurities..
